PanaSee Test

PanaSee is the test that help to find a risk of pancreatic cancer, and it helps to find the cancer and to start medical treatment.

Pancreatic cancer is the cancer that is occurred at pancreas.  About 90% of pancreatic cancer is occurred at pancreatic duct.  It is hard to find the symptoms of pancreatic cancer.  Then abdominal pain, inappetence, an abdominal feeling of distension, jaundice, a waist and back pain and diabetes may develop.  Abdominal pain, inappetence, an abdominal feeling of distension, jaundice, a waist and back pain are also show symptoms of other disease, so it may be too late to care pancreatic cancer.  It is hard to find pancreatic cancer because there is no effective screening test to find it.

From the statistics, survival rate of pancreatic cancer on Stage I is 36%.  On stage II, the rate goes down to 16.1% and 5.7% on stage III.  On stage VI, survival rate is only 1.4%.

If doctors have doubt about pancreatic cancer, they do echo check, CT, and MRI.  If they do not reach a diagnosis, patients take Endoscopic UltrasoundEUS, Magnetic Resonance Cholangiopancreatography(MRCP), Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography(ERCP),  Position Emission tomography(PET) for final diagnosis.

As I said at the beginning, PanaSee is the test for finding risk of pancreatic cancer.  The test is taken by blood sample and finish short time.  Patients will receive the result of test about 4 weeks after the test was taken.  If have diabetes or your relative had pancreatic cancer, please take PanaSee test.
